Pregnancy Yoga - 5 -week course with Kirsti

How do you know if this is the course is for you? 

This course is designed for people who are 12+ weeks pregnant that want to learn about the changes of the body & hormones through pregnancy whilst moving their body to feel better every day.

No prior yoga experience is needed.

 

Course Outline:

Classes have a specific focus every week that leads into a flowing sequence combining everything you’ve explored so you can lock the movement & breathwork into your body and really feel the difference.

Be guided through a range of movement patterns to:

  • Relieve lower back pain

  • Support any sciatica that may have arisen

  • Open the chest and “un-round” the shoulders

  • Stabilise & strengthen the pelvis

  • Connect with the pelvic floor

  • Gently open up the pelvis in preparation for labour & birth

 

Each class will include:

  • Breathwork

  • Intention setting

  • Flowing sequences with options to increase physical & mental challenge.

  • Relaxation

 

You will:

  • Gain a better understanding of the hormonal & physiological changes in the body through pregnancy.

  • Learn about breathwork options to support you through pregnancy and through labour.

  • Connect with other people on the journey to parenthood.
