SPRING RISING - A Qigong Journey with The Wood Element

4 week course

Thursdays 13:00-14:00

Spring is the season of new beginnings, growth and fresh momentum. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this time of year is governed by the Wood element, which supports the Liver and Gallbladder systems. These systems are responsible for the smooth flow of Qi, emotional balance and our ability to plan and grow.

In this 4 week course, you’ll be guided through gentle yet powerful practices designed to awaken the body after winter, release stagnation and encourage free, vibrant movement of energy. Each session supports flexibility, detoxification, emotional clarity and renewed vitality. Leave this course feeling more grounded, motivated and aligned with the natural rhythm of Spring.

Expect flowing movements, breath work and practices to nourish your joints and tendons, calm the nervous system and cultivate a sense of inner expansion.

Whether you’re feeling stiff, stressed, or simply ready for a fresh start, this course offers a supportive space to reconnect with your body and step into spring with ease and confidence.

No prior Qigong experience is necessary, just a willingness to move, breathe, and grow.

About Qigong:

Qigong is a practice which focuses on health, relaxation, energy and vitality. Often described as the art of effortless power, qigong is one of the five pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Qi can be translated as vital life force energy while gong means to cultivate or work. Therefore, qigong is a form of energy cultivation which includes forms (movement), visualisation, meditation and breathwork.

Qigong helps to restore balance in body-mind-spirit, aids lubrication of joints, builds strength and stability.

Suitable for all levels and experience.

Investment:

£52 for the course (£13 / session)

£16 drop-in for existing students
