Mariia - Massage Therapist
Born in Ukraine, I was educated in medicine, physiotherapy and holistic massage therapies in Kyiv. I graduated from medical university and emergency internship in Kyiv and worked as emergency doctor. After two years working as an emergency doctor, I saw how pathology can result from physical trauma and chronic stress, so I decided to take qualifications in massage. Since then, I have developed my massage skills to help people with both acute and chronic conditions, as well as with stress prevention and certain beauty therapies.
I moved to UK because of the war in Ukraine as a refugee and have a three-year visa to live and work here under the Homes for Ukrainians scheme.
