I have been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years. I have always loved the way yoga leaves my body and mind feeling calm and balanced. I decided I wanted to teach yoga so I could share these benefits with others
I began the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course in 2019. After a break during the Covid pandemic I then followed on with the BWY teacher training course in 2023.
I enjoy teaching mixed ability classes, from complete beginners through to people who have attended classes for many years. I offer modifications so everyone is able to join in at the right level for them, and I love learning from all my students with their different bodies and minds. Yoga isn’t about looking the same, it’s about being present with your own mind, body and breath. I love the way the energy changes in a yoga class as people let go of the tension and mind chatter they arrived with, reaching the stillness of Savasana at the end of a class..
