What is Reiki?
Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation which also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us and if low, we are more likely to get ill or feel stressed. If it is high, we are more capable of feeling happy and healthy.
What does Reiki do?
This non invasive, and potentially powerful healing can create a deep relaxation which allows the body to detoxify and release tensions that no longer serve you in your life. The treatment involves sitting or lying down, fully clothed, as energy passes through the practitioner’s hands and is channelled around the head and body, with longer time spent on specific parts of the body that need more healing energy. It is an ideal treatment if you are feeling stressed, anxious or worried in any way.
