Yoga Therapy uses the practice of yoga to alleviate physical and mental health conditions. Yoga Therapy has been shown to be extremely beneficial in the treatment/management of many health conditions including anxiety, depression, stress, back pain, multiple sclerosis, dementia, Parkinson’s, high blood pressure and many more.
The Minded Yoga Therapy approach combines the worlds of yoga, Buddhism, science, and psychology, giving an integrative and practical approach to the empowerment of individuals facing life challenges and chronic health conditions. After a detailed and thorough consultation where your needs, your past/present medical history, and what you would like to achieve with Yoga Therapy will be discussed/assessed, a unique program of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation will be used to best meet your requirements.
Yoga Therapy is a partnership between therapist and client, and your input, feedback and active participation are an absolutely integral part of the process to ensure you get the best out of your sessions.
