Free Yoga class for anyone recovering from addiction.

Addiction, in its various forms, is a destructive force that pulls us further and further away from our true selves and away from any sense of peace and wellbeing. Recovery from addiction requires great courage, it is a journey towards re-connection.

How will yoga help you with your recovery journey?

Yoga is invaluable as part of a recovery journey, it is a holistic practise that helps to increase self awareness, helps to bring you back into balance on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and helps you reconnect with your true nature.

Practising yoga helps to bring strength, steadiness and ease to the body which helps to calm and focus the mind, is a great mindfulness practice and a good preparation for meditation.

In this small group class we will explore posture and the breath and move with sensitivity and a playful sense of humour!
